HISTORY
New Life Christian Academy began in the fall of 1992 when North Hills Christian School and Great Lakes Christian School merged. In the fall of 1993, the school moved to its current location at the corner of Wadhams and Griswold Roads in Kimball Township. Here, the school has continued to grow in academics, athletics, and fine arts.
In 1994, NLCA joined both the Association of Christian Schools International and the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools. These memberships provide enhancement and accountability to the academic excellence of NLCA. In 2005, NLCA was able to make needed improvements to both the playground and the hallways. Within a few years, NLCA saw renovations to the parking lot and the creation of a regulation soccer field. These modifications continue to make NLCA a great place for your students.
To continue to enhance its connection to academic innovations, NLCA joined Christian Schools International in 2013.
